GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These General Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of Szabadulás Kaland Kft. (registered office: 1155 Budapest, Csajág utca 4.; company registration number: 01-09-421606; tax number: 32390551-1-42), all collaborating sole proprietors and companies having a contractual relationship with it, and the users of the services presented on the website of Szabadulás Kaland Kft., as follows:
Definitions:
1.1 GTC: These General Terms and Conditions, which the Service Provider is entitled to amend unilaterally, provided that it publishes any amendment without delay on the website of Szabadulás Kaland Kft.
1.2 Service Provider or Operator: Szabadulás Kaland Kft. (registered office: 1155 Budapest, Csajág utca 4.; company registration number: 01-09-421606; tax number: 32390551-1-42)
1.3 User: A registered user of the services provided on the Service Provider’s website. A User may be any adult Hungarian or foreign citizen, any Hungarian or foreign citizen under the age of 8 accompanied by an adult, or any Hungarian or foreign legal entity.
1.4 Parties: The Service Provider/Operator and the User jointly.
1.5 Escape Game/Game: A game published on the Portal.
1.6 Portal: The website www.szabaduloszobagyor.hu.
1.7 Booking: A booking made online through the Portal, by SMS to +36 20 219 0153, or in person at either of the following game locations: 9021 Győr, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 9. and 9021 Győr, Munkácsy Mihály utca 6. Registration is not a prerequisite for booking an appointment on the website.
1.8 Game locations: 9021 Győr, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 9. and 9021 Győr, Munkácsy Mihály utca 6.
1.9 Duration of the Escape Game/Game: 60-120 minutes.
1.10 Team Building: Corporate team-building events, school trips, etc.
1.11 Payment: In cash at the location, by advance bank transfer, by advance bank card payment, or with a gift voucher.
1.12 Occasional Discount: Including, for example, prize draws, promotions, etc.
1.13 Voucher: Gift voucher.
1. BOOKING
(1) Visiting the Portal, viewing available booking times, making a booking, or requesting a gift card does not require registration; however, the provision of personal data may be required.
2. BOOKING PROCESS
(1) A booking may be initiated on the Portal only for available time slots.
(2) No prior registration is required to make a booking.
(3) The Service Provider shall notify the User of a successful booking by email sent to the email address provided by the User. The email shall contain:
● identification of the selected game room
● the date and time
● the location
● the link required to cancel the booking
(4) During the 24 hours preceding the desired game time, bookings may only be made by SMS to +36 20 219 0153. The Service Provider shall confirm by SMS whether the booking was successful. A booking shall be valid only if the User receives a confirmation SMS from the Service Provider.
(5) Our current prices are available at the following link: https://szabaduloszobagyor.hu/arainkThe game may be played at any one time by no more than the maximum number of players specified in the description of the relevant game room. The User may make a booking in person at 9021 Győr, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 9. or 9021 Győr, Munkácsy Mihály utca 6., online under the Booking menu, or by SMS in accordance with Clause 3
(4) herein.
(6) The User may pay the game fee at the location before the game in the manner set out in Clause 3
(5) herein, or immediately by online payment when making the booking. A previously purchased voucher issued by the Service Provider or by an external provider may also be redeemed at the location, provided that it was issued by one of our contractual partners.
(7) We reserve the right to change our prices. Our current prices are valid for the relevant day; both the prices displayed at the location and those published on the website are updated for the relevant day.
3. CANCELLATION OF A BOOKING
(1) The User may cancel a booking electronically by using the link contained in the confirmation email, and, within 24 hours of the booked time, by telephone or SMS.
If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the booked time, no refund shall be available. The amount paid shall be retained as a cancellation fee because the time slot can no longer be, or is unlikely to be, booked by another customer.
If a booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before the booked time and advance payment has been made, no refund shall be available; however, upon notification by email, the amount paid may be used within one month for a later booking and may also be transferred to another person.
4. FORCE MAJEURE
(1) If the Service Provider is unable to provide the booked time slot for technical, engineering, or other reasons, it shall be entitled to cancel the booking; however, in such a case, it shall provide a new time slot in accordance with the User’s choice.
(2) In the event of force majeure, the Service Provider shall not be liable to pay compensation; however, it shall always endeavour to provide the User with a new time slot.
(3) If the User’s game is terminated because of a breach of the provisions accepted in the GTC or the House Rules declaration, the Service Provider may not be required to provide a refund or a new booking.
5. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
(1) All persons participate in the game solely at their own risk. By making a booking, each participant accepts that the GTC and the House Rules apply to them and undertakes to comply with them. The House Rules are displayed at the location. The legal representative, or an adult present who has been authorised by the legal representative, shall be responsible for a minor.
(2) A person under the age of 8 may participate in the game only when accompanied by an adult. Persons under the age of 16 may not participate in the “Boncmester titkai” (“Secrets of the Coroner”) or “Apáca” (“The Nun”) game rooms.
(3) Any person under the influence of alcohol or any other mind-altering substance may not participate in the game.
(4) If the User arrives 20 minutes after the booked time, the game can no longer be started and no refund may be claimed.
(5) The duration of the game is fixed. The playing time cannot be extended.
(6) In the event of intentional damage, the Service Provider shall charge the User for the cost of the damage.
6. LANGUAGE OF THE GAME
(1) Hungarian and English (and, in most cases, German as well).
7. VOUCHERS AND THEIR VALIDITY
(1) Gift vouchers may also be purchased at: https://szabaduloszobagyor.hu/voucherThe current prices of vouchers are the same as the game prices, which are available at: https://szabaduloszobagyor.hu/araink
(2) Vouchers purchased from the Service Provider are normally valid for six months from the date of issue. The validity period is also stated on each voucher, and the period stated on the voucher shall prevail.
(3) Vouchers may be purchased at the locations or ordered online through the website.
(4) Payment: By bank transfer or online bank card payment through the website, or in cash at the location.
8. ACCEPTANCE OF THE GTC
(1) By finalising the booking, the User accepts the Service Provider’s General Terms and Conditions.

10. COMPLAINT HANDLING
If the User has any request, question, comment, or other matter concerning the operation of the Escape Game or the rights and obligations of Users, the User should contact the Operator at the following address: Szabadulás Kaland Kft.Email: info@szabaduloszobagy.huThe Operator shall investigate requests and comments submitted to it and shall respond to the User no later than within eight
(8) working days at the contact address provided by the User. If a request cannot be dealt with within eight
(8) working days, the Operator shall make every reasonable effort to deal with it as soon as possible.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND ENFORCEMENT OF RIGHTS
These GTC shall be governed by the law applicable at the registered office of the Service Provider. The Parties agree to attempt to settle any dispute arising between them amicably. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached, the Parties submit any dispute arising between them to the jurisdiction of the court having territorial jurisdiction over the registered office of the Service Provider.
12. ENTRY INTO FORCE
These GTC shall enter into force on 29 July 2026.
